“There’s a time to unravel unwanted packages and try to reassemble ourselves into something we can recognize. There’s a time to talk… talk… talk… around, through and over the realities that shouldn’t be mine. A time to do the tedious work of healing and the heavy lifting of finding enough peace to see beauty even when times are so hard.
Amidst that, I’m still just freaking pissed off that this is happening. The work to divert, squelch, or dissolve my caged anger just makes me even more mad. Anger’s righteousness is exhausting though; it brings no help to me. I need to release it.
